By The River Piedra, I Sat Down And Wept

For those of you who likes Paulo Coelho's book, then probably this book is quite familiar for you. Paulo Coelho is an author who wrote a best seller book called The Alchemist. According to me, The Alchemist has great qualities. Not only the story, but also the way it is written and the message he's trying to convey, so inspiring.

But then again, Paulo Coelho proofed that his other books - which I could say great books - also inspiring. By the River Piedra, I Sat Down and Wept, is one of it.

This book tells a story about two people that were childhood friends, realizing that they fell in love to each other since they were a little kid, of course without even understood what love exactly is. They were then got separated, and lived their own life. Until one time, they finally meet each other again.

Lots of things happen before they met. But the guy, has finally realized, that that time is the second chance of the past; a second chance for him to say what he wanted, or needed, to say. So does the girl.

The differences they had, made them think quite a lot, before they made their decision together. Lots of inner conflicts they were facing, and of course, lots of changes happened to them, as they're trying to express and learn the deepest meaning about love.

This book has greatly inspired me, and it made me also realized that in every mistaken we have made; there will be a second chance in which will appear whenever the Mother Nature (I prefer to say it as God) feel it necessary.

The problem is, how we could recognize the moment when we finally got that second chance, how mature are we when we're facing it, and how should we respond to it, and other things that we would know when we really in their shoes.

The setting is also great. It took place in Spain and France. If I had a chance to go (again) to Europe, I think it would be great to visit those places.

Again, big applauses should be given to Paulo Coelho, with his inspiring and mind opening master pieces in literatures.

Another Paulo Coelho's books : The Alchemist; The Pilgrimage; Eleven Minutes; Veronica Decides to Die; The Fifth Mountain; The Valkyries; Warrior of The Light.

hahahah ... i hope that you didn't start to buy the books of PC because of my present for you before you left Netherlands couple of months ago (a little bit GR boleh kan ?).

But indeed, he's a great writer. There's another great writer, named Dan Brown. I don't know if you like his books, but he is a great writer. He may not that poetic, but he's damn good in writing novels. i'm currently read one of his novel called Angels and Demons, i think this is his first novel (i don't know exactly though :D). It's great !!! Absolutely great !!! I agree that this guy's masterpiece awarded as the number one bestseller books. :) but, it is completely different from PC :) Well, they both deserved it i think. I haven't read others, but as long as i live, these two author's really produced masterpieces that are 'unputdownable' :)

Miss you too, bradaahh ;)

My work ? It's great, though i haven't been stimulated by it yet :D probably in the next two months :D
